NOW OFFERING INTER-ISLAND SERVICE!!!I offer several types of services.Service Type 1 - NEW Toyota
OEM Panasonic battery modules.Replacement of all modules with NEW OEM Gen 4 NiMH Panasonic Modules. These modules are straight from Toyota and are original parts. I can order at $75 per module. Typically, you can plan on 7-10 years of problem free hybrid battery issues. I do all of the extraction, changing out of modules and parts, cleaning of cooling fan, NEW busbars and reinstallation. If extra parts are needed, I carry many of them and typically only run $150 more. NEW modules are guaranteed for 1 year...the same guarantee Toyota gives me. You can purchase an additional 2 year extended guarantee for $200 extra. See my guarantee down below my pricing. NEW modules have 100% lifespan and 6500 mah. (milli ampers per hour)Service Type 2- Supreme Reconditioned ModulesSame service as the NEW but I use superior reconditioned modules instead. These superior reconditioned modules have 93% lifespan and 6000 mah. Almost new and almost half the cost. I guarantee for 1 year.Service Type 3- Refurbished modules.You order the refurbished modules from a dealer. Ebay has the best selection. Once the modules are in, I can come and service the hybrid battery. I do all of the extraction, changing out of modules and parts, cleaning of cooling fan and reinstallation. If extra parts are needed, I will inform you what parts are needed and you order those parts from dealers. I will guide you through that process to make sure you get the right parts. Usually the Hybrid battery ECU and Sensor Wire Harness are the two most common. These parts range from $100-$250 on Ebay. Typical refurbished modules have 70%-75% lifespan and 4500-5500 mah. Please read why I do not recommend this when compared to NEW modulesService Type 4 - Installation ONLYInstallation of purchased Hybrid Battery Pack, like GreenBean, Cardone, Dorman, etc. Refurbished battery packs that you can get online run around $1300-$1400, but shipping is another $800. That's over $2200 and you still don't have your battery installed! If you decide to go this route, I charge $400 for installation. But for approximately the same cost, you can have brand new official Toyota modules that will last 7-10 years making YOUR HYBRID VEHICLE feel and drive like new. See pricing below.Service Type 5- Conversion KitsConversion of battery pack to off brand module like Enno Battery, Electron Battery, etc. Any conversion, I charge $700 to complete and only guarantee my work, not the battery you purchased.Service Type 6 - Single Module ReplacementOn some vehicles (not all), replacing a single module may fix the hybrid battery. Cost for this is significantly less, however, very few cars warrant this kind of repair. I charge $700 labor and $50 per module that is needing to be replaced. I do not recommend this repair and I will discuss this option only if I deem it a viable option.Why I recommend NEW over refurbished?Over the course of time, the industry as a whole noticed the fail rate of refurbished modules was around 4%-6% within the first year of use. Most Toyota models require 28 modules. You do the math! That meant almost all battery packs changed out with refurbished modules have a high likelihood that within a year would need to be reserviced again. This would not only be frustrating to you as a customer but to me as well. So, I have revamped how I do refurbished servicing and my rates and guarantee to reflect this in our Service #3 Model.All of these factors caused me to look at how I could best serve Hawaii's needs. So in June of 2023, I have banded together with other independent hybrid repair shops throughout the mainland under one umbrella to meet the requirement to receive a deep discount from Toyota in Japan to purchase the Gen 4 OEM New Panasonic Modules qualifying by uniting our purchase power and volume. We now can happily say that I pass that savings onto you. These Gen 4 modules, which are Nickel Metal Hydride, work perfectly in ALL the vehicles I service. (See list below and pricing)

NEW MODULES & Supreme Reconditioned
Disclaimer PunaTech guarantees its NEW & Supreme Reconditioned batteries as working and in good condition FOR 1 YEAR from date of completed service. This is the same guarantee that Toyota gives me and my supplier of the Supreme. This includes any parts replaced and labor. Any repairs needed outside of the hybrid battery are not within the scope of this guarantee. For NEW modules only, I offer an additional two years (total of 3 years) for $200. This offer is good for 30 days from time of service. After 30 days, you cannot purchase this additional guarantee.REFURBISHED MODULES

I will try to help you as best I can to troubleshoot problems not only within the Hybrid Battery System but the car in general. I do carry the Toyota TechStream program and VCI OBD2 scanner.
I do limited front end work (only inverter/converter replacement of the Hybrid System). Call for estimate of repair on this.
I do NOT do any other front end work, body work or underneath work. I do NOT do engine or brakes or fuel pumps or any other repairs outside the Hybrid Battery.

"Have a Prius C 1 and it needed a couple of the 20 cells replaced and decided to replace all of them with rebuilt for about 1,100$. compared to Toyata dealers quote for new of 7000 plus ....not even an offer of rebuilt ...
